| General Info | The M-14 was the replacement for the M-1 Garand and M-2 Carbine. Designed to be the American alternative to the FN-FAL, the M-14 quickly gained a reputation for superior accuracy. Almost uncontrollable on full-auto, the M-14 did not serve long before it was replaced by the M-16. Despite the age of the design, some semi-automatic variations of the M-14 can still be found in use by rural law enforcement or park rangers, although it is not a common weapon. |
| Realism: | Poor - Much too light. |
| Notes: | This was one of my favorites from the first game, and this time they got it right! The M-14 is good as a sniper rifle or in the standard assault role. |
